Success is fulfilling the
complete purpose for which God made you. It has nothing to do with wealth,
accomplishments, stature in life, or standard of living. It has to do with
living a life of obedience to the Father. And when we live a life of obedience
to the Father, we will fulfill the purposes that God had in mind when he made
us.

Are you saying that a person can't be successful if they don't believe in God or is that just your personal definition for yourself?

A good friend of mine recently relayed a question that had been asked of her when she was facing a career decision:

"When you meet your Maker, what are you going to say when He asks:
'What have you done with what I have given you?"

Whether or not you are a spiritual person, I think this I gives us all something to think about.

If you base your self esteem on material things, your car, your house etc. or on your job, or on your education or anything other than faith in Jesus Christ... you are basing your self-esteem on quick sand. You can wreck your car, burn your house, be fired, get an illness and lose your mind etc. etc.

Oh my, that is a tough question, Wehm! In one word, my answer would be "peace." Being at peace with yourself, having found peace in your soul. That is my own definition of success.

If you are not spiritual you don't believe there is such a thing as a "Maker". That saying would be moot to a person who does not believe there is some all mighty creator sitting up there.
