Back before spring ball kicked up I was bored so I took some time to review the current players at each position, who we were losing at that spot, and potential prospects for the 2016 class. I then had a little fun with it and summarized where the position stood and made some predictions - obviously tainted by my bias as a Razorback fan. In any event, I thought that with all the toxicity around the basketball program - it might be nice to step away from the drama and wonder "what if?"
Understand that I have no inside information, and I'm not an expert. I'm just a fan trying to fill the gap between spring ball and the Razorback summer camps coming up in the few weeks. I'll post one position each day until they're all covered. I hope you enjoy! GHG! WPS!

The Hogs will continue to bring in at least one QB each year, and have currently have a commitment from 3* PSQB Cole Kelley (6’7, 235) of Lafayette, LA…Kelley is drawing comparisons to former Razorback and current Houston Texans QB, Ryan Mallett…he is also being compared to future NFL Hall of Fame QB Ben Rothlisberger as well…that’s high praise…
Position Summary
QB is set at the starting position, but it’s 2nd string that is where the battle is raging…the younger Allen has the edge in experience, but Peavey has a cannon for an arm and is super athletic…what has been discussed over and over though, is that the 2nd string QB simply must be better than an injured BA if the Hogs have any chance to take the next step in the standings of the SEC...after spring ball, it appears that Austin's experience is leading over Peavey's athleticism which is why I've listed him as #3 on the depth chart...one thing is for sure though - BOTH will need to be prepared as the SEC is the toughest league in the nation and injuries can happen in clusters at any given point…as for Storey – reports indicate that he’s every bit as good as advertised, but he’s still a freshman and likely won’t push for playing time until next year – it’s my opinion that he’s probably headed for a redshirt…
Prediction:
There aren’t any other teams in the SEC with a 5th year, 3-year starter at QB, and RS SR Brandon Allen is poised to take a HUGE step in his final season as a Razorback…new OC Dan Enos has simplified the offensive system and play calling, and his attention to detail is said to be paying immediate dividends in Allens’ footwork and technique so far this spring…I’m going out on a ledge here, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see a healthy Brandon Allen make the All-SEC second team at the end of the year…
