Dejon Harris 3* 5'11 235lbs. committed as a LBer.
I haven't watched every commits highlight tape yet, but Harris' tape stood out to me and i encourage everyone to watch it. He is just a straight up baller. I didn't realize how much his team utilized him on offense. Dude was catching everything his way scoring TD after TD. He looks fast as lightning and was laying some sick licks on defense. He has a nose for the football. I can't believe this kid is a 3* (not that i care much for the star system) but plese tell me others have seen his highlight tape, or maybe i'm just late watching it.
Are we going to RS him? Or do what we did with Eugene and Hackett and play him mostly on ST to get him use to SEC speed? He's a true LB which i'm glad that we don't have to sign DB and convert them to LB.
All i know is after watching his highlight tape i was blown away. Dude knows how to lay some licks on RB's/WR's. He's already got the size at 235 lbs.
I think he had a dozen offers. Some power 5 schools, but mostly smaller schools. My question is what is he missing? He's drawn a ton of attention from big time schools just no offers yet. I just think we got a STEAL on defense right out of LA. LSU missed on this kid. I just thought it was interesting we got to watch him showcase his offensive skills as well.
Anyone else feel free to chime in on Harris.
I think were signing a bunch of Diamond in the roughs from Louisiana. Especially over the past few years. LSU, imo is screwing up big time.

LSU looked at most of these kids and only offered Guidry & Ramirez. Don't get me wrong, most of these players are young and have work to do and were yet to see some of these players get some good PT.
I just encourage those who haven't seen Dejon Harris' Highlight tape to go watch it now. I think he's too good to RS. WOW. Very underrated player.
