Got this idea from another thread where Nikki said, "we will know in 4 years who was right." Well it got me thinking, I wonder who got right 4 years ago. I will display rivals, 247's actual rank (where 247 ranked them and not what the composite said), and ESPN's rating. Then lets determine who got each player closer to correct.
Brandon Martin, WR = 247 (3 star 88) / ESPN (4 star 85) / Rivals (4 star 5.9) I would give 247 the nod here.
Chevin Calloway, DB = 247 (4 star 90) / ESPN (4 star 83) / Rivals (4 star 5.9) I would give 247 the edge here although all have him overrated
Montaric Brown, DB = 247 (4 star 94) / ESPN (4 star 82) / Rivals (4 star 5.8) I would call this one even since I think he's somewhere in between 247 and Rivals/ESPN's rank
Jeremy Patton, TE = 247 (4 star 91) / ESPN (4 star 80) / Rivals (4 star 5.9) I would have to give this one to ESPN since that's the lowest rating of the three
Chase Hayden, RB = 247 (4 star 92) / ESPN ( 3 star 77) / Rivals (4 star 5.9) I would say ESPN nailed this one.
Daulton Hyatt, QB = 247 (3 star 87) / ESPN (4 star 82) / Rivals ( 3 star 5.5) Apparently ESPN was drunk on this one. Rivals, I would say, got this one right.
Kolian Jackson, WR = 247 ( 4 star 93) / ESPN (4 star 80) / Rivals ( 3 star 5.6) Not sure on this one. Kolian has been injured his whole career here so who knows which is accurate. Still, for now this one goes Rivals way.
Kamren Curl, DB = 247 (3 star 86) / ESPN (3 star 78) / Rivals ( 3 star 5.7) Curl is doing well in the NFL but he was rated pretty close to correct by all three for college
Dalton Wagner, OL = 247 (4 star 90) / ESPN ( 3 star 75) / Rivals ( 3 star 5.6) This one is going to ESPN and Rivals. 247 has him overrated
Maleek Barkley, WR = 247 (3 star 85) / ESPN (3 star 79) / Rivals ( 3 star 5.7) This one goes to 247 as both Rivals and ESPN had him on the cusp of a 4 star
Jarrod Barnes, ATH = 247 (3 star 89) / ESPN (3 star 78) / Rivals ( 3 star 5.6) This one goes to Rivals

Hayden Henry, Gabe Richardson, and Ty Clary were excluded because 247 does not list Clary and Henry while ESPN did not rate Richardson, Clary, and Henry. Rivals has all three rated low as well.
So on a point system where even is 0, a tie between 2 services is .5 and a win is 1.0:
Rivals = 4.0
ESPN = 6.5
247 = 8.5
247 was the most accurate and Rivals was the least
