We continue our HawgBeat position preview series ahead of the start of fall camp with the offensive line.

With Sam Pittman and offensive line coach Cody Kennedy going into year four at Arkansas, some of the names on the offensive line will be their recruits this fall.

Of the five spots on the offensive line, two are virtually set in stone, two seem strong and one remains a question mark entering fall camp.

Here is a full preview of the offensive line position for Arkansas ahead of fall camp, including a breakdown of each guy, a three-deep depth chart and storylines to watch...

Arkansas Offensive Linemen

Returning players: Brady Latham (redshirt senior), Beaux Limmer (redshirt senior), Ty'Kieast Crawford (senior), Devon Manuel (redshirt sophomore), Terry Wells (redshirt sophomore), Cole Carson (redshirt sophomore), Patrick Kutas (sophomore), Eli Henderson (redshirt freshman), Andrew Chamblee (redshirt freshman), E'Marion Harris (redshirt freshman), Josh Street (redshirt sophomore - walk-on), Brock Burns (redshirt freshman - walk-on), Brooks Edmonson (redshirt freshman - walk-on)

Additions: Josh Braun (redshirt junior), Amaury Wiggins (redshirt sophomore), Joey Su'a (freshman), Paris Patterson (freshman), Luke Brown (freshman), Tommy Varhall (redshirt sophomore - walk-on), Payton Simpson (redshirt junior - walk-on), Aaron Smith (freshman - walk-on)

The Starters

Redshirt seniors Brady Latham and Beaux Limmer are back to lead lead offensive line coach Cody Kennedy's bunch. Both were starting guards last season, but Limmer will shift over to center this season while Latham will stay at left guard.

Latham was named to Preseason Second Team All-SEC by the media and Limmer was likely left off the list for his lack of experience at center.

Based on how spring practices went, the tackle spots seem solid entering fall camp.

Sophomore Patrick Kutas drew plenty of praise in the spring and he is expected to step in at right tackle after Dalton Wagner held that spot last season.

At left tackle, redshirt sophomore Devon Manuel is expected to be the starter. The 6-foot-9, 310-pound native of Sunset, Louisiana, played just nine snaps last season, but Pittman sounded confident in Manuel's abilities at SEC Media Days.

Right guard is the one spot that has a question mark entering fall camp. Three different names could fill the spot: Florida transfer Joshua Braun, senior Ty'Kieast Crawford or redshirt freshman E'Marion Harris.

The Rest

Braun transferred to play the guard spot, and we project him as the starting right guard in our depth chart below. Harris seems to project more as a guard than a tackle, but Crawford could be a guard or tackle.

Andrew Chamblee is projected as the backup left tackle behind Manuel, and at 6-foot-6, 304 pounds, Chamblee is a solid No. 2. Terry Wells is another option at tackle and we've projected him as the third team left tackle.

Amaury Wiggins was a key addition from Coffeyville Community College. Wiggins played four games at center for Coffeyville in 2022 and he will almost certainly be the backup center behind Limmer.

Freshmen Joey Su'a and Paris Patterson are both big guards that have bright futures, but they likely won't play much in 2023. Fellow freshman Luke Brown is a four-star offensive tackle who won't be available this fall due to injury.

Maryland transfer Tommy Varhall, redshirt sophomore Josh Street and redshirt freshman Brooks Edmonson are a few walk-ons to know.

Things To Watch

Who will win starting right guard job?

As of now, it seems like Braun has the slight edge after spending three seasons at Florida. Braun started in seven games during the 2021 season and served at both right and left guard.

Crawford and Harris are both very intriguing options as well and each saw some snaps in 2022.

Can Manuel and Kutas hold down tackle spots?

While they are both options to start at right guard, Crawford and Harris could both prove to be tough to sit. If Manuel or Kutas need to be replaced, either of Crawford or Harris could step in with little drop off.

Will Wiggins be for-sure backup center?

While Josh Street served as second team center most of the spring, he likely wouldn't have stepped in with the first team if something happened to Limmer. Patrick Kutas was *probably* the emergency center.

If Wiggins is as good as advertised, the JUCO transfer could prove to be the true No. 2 guy behind Limmer.

Any dark horse contributors?

There seems to be a solid rotation of nine guys, but guys like Cole Carson, Terry Wells, Paris Patterson and Joey Su'a are all names who could earn some playing time.
