Rivals released the latest update to the Rivals250 on Tuesday, and several Arkansas targets and one commit found themselves on the list.
Right now, Arkansas holds the No. 24 class in the country according to Rivals, behind UCF and just ahead of Purdue.
There are five total commitments in the class; three four-stars in running back Jamarion Parker, quarterback Grayson Wilson and lineman Carius Curne, one three-star in athlete Markeylin Batton and one two-star in kicker Evan Noel.
Curne is the latest recruit to jump on board, as he committed on Feb. 7 over offers from Ole Miss, Georgia, Mississippi State and others.
A Marion native, Curne is also the only commit listed on the latest Rivals250. He was previously ranked No. 177, but dropped to No. 206 in the latest update.
Here’s a closer look at the other Arkansas targets who are in the Rivals250 for the 2025 class.
Robinson dropped 17 spots in the latest update, down to No. 117 from 101 previously.
The Parkview athlete hasn’t been on campus since late December, and took visits to both Oklahoma and Oregon in January. Robinson has also added offers from LSU, Michigan and Florida since the start of 2024.
For Parkview this last season, Robinson pretty much did it all. He played quarterback, defensive back, punter, holder and pretty much whatever was needed to help the Patriots win a 5A state championship last season.
Robinson's top-10 includes Florida State, Oregon, Oklahoma, Baylor, Southern Cal, Texas, Auburn Ole Miss and Tennessee in addition to the Razorbacks.
Another athlete who saw his ranking drop, Hopson fell to No. 120 in the latest update.
Hopson is listed as a safety by Rivals but is being recruited to Arkansas to play linebacker. He released a Top 8 schools on Feb. 10 and included the Hogs, as well as Texas, Ole Miss, LSU, Mississippi State, Texas A&M, Miami and Auburn.
He most recently took a visit to Arkansas on Jan. 27 and had good things to say about his time.
“Arkansas bring that energy," Hopson said when asked what made Arkansas different. "All the coaches are energized. It’s all about football and life at Arkansas."
Hopson told HawgBeat he hasn’t scheduled an official visit yet, but he plans to take one to Arkansas.
At one point, it felt like staying in the race for Kevin Oatis was a pipe dream. He holds offers from Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Michigan and others, and most of the time there’s not a seat at the table for Arkansas with those schools.
But Oatis was visited by the Arkansas coaching staff on Jan. 31, and told HawgBeat last week he’s looking for a good date to lock in a visit.
A four-star defensive tackle, Oatis saw his ranking drop from No. 112 to 133 in the latest update.
Oatis received an invite to the U.S. Army Bowl after competing in the All-American Combine last week.
The latest Arkansas recruit to commit to the program, Curne dropped 29 spots in the latest update, from No. 177 to 206.
Curne committed to Arkansas on Feb. 7. He took a visit to Arkansas on Jan. 20 and then went to Ole Miss a week later on Feb. 27. He said after his Arkansas visit he appreciated the family atmosphere in Fayetteville.
"Family means everything to me, man, so I was just really liking that hearing it from them," Curne said. "I had a great time. Me and coach (Kelvin) Green, I really like the relationship we have. I like coach (Eric) Mateos, I like coach Sam Pittman. It was a great time, I had a great time. They treated me like a king."
The Marion native plays both offensive and defensive line, and is being recruited by both Arkansas offensive line coach Eric Mateos and defensive line coach Deke Adams.
Dillon Alfred is a new addition to the Rivals250, debuting at No. 226 in the latest update.
The Saraland, Alabama, native most recently took a visit to Arkansas on Jan. 27. He took a visit to Missouri a week before that on Jan. 20.
In addition to Arkansas, Alfred also holds offers from Auburn, Ole Miss, Tennessee and plenty others.
Arkansas has been diving deep into recruiting the state of Alabama, nabbing a total of seven athletes from the state in the last two recruiting cycles.
