There are a lot of significant names in Razorback history from Greenwood, such as Tyler Wilson, Grant Morgan, Drew Morgan, Connor Noland and more.

The Bulldogs are loaded with talent in the class of 2026, highlighted by quarterback Kane Archer. Another one of those players is offensive lineman Cody Taylor, who was on campus for Arkansas’ loss to BYU on Saturday.

It was Taylor’s first trip to Fayetteville for a game, though it wasn't the first time he'd been on campus, as his last visit came in July during Arkansas' camp. Taylor told HawgBeat that he really enjoyed the atmosphere inside Razorback Stadium over the weekend.

"Man, so many cool experiences, it’s hard to nail one down," Taylor said when asked about his favorite part of the trip. "The Hog walk, the pregame warmups on the field, meeting with other recruits and their families, did a tv interview too which was crazy. It was my first regular season college game so all of it was pretty awesome. The environment inside was electric."

While fans were upset about the outcome of the game, with Arkansas taking a 38-31 loss, Taylor said the game itself didn't change his opinion of the program.

"Every team in the history of football has faced adversity, it’s just part of football," Taylor said. "Sometimes those losses are the thing that rally’s a team to take things up a notch. One thing is for sure, the players are surrounded by an awesome group of coaches and I have no doubt they will come back strong."

Taylor has yet to report an offer from Arkansas specifically, which make sense when you consider he's still just a sophomore in high school. Other teams are taking notice of the 6-foot-3, 280-pound athlete, though.

Right now, Taylor has offers from Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Memphis, UNLV, Toledo and New Mexico State. Of those teams, he said he's getting the most attention from Vanderbilt and UNLV, plus both Arkansas and Virginia Tech are also keeping in touch as well.

Arkansas already has two commitments from the class of 2026 in offensive lineman Bear McWhorter and defensive back Tay Lockett.
