Maybe I've missed it but it seems like the defense isn't getting enough love for the job they did.
Against that offense and that QB I think most people would've taken those stats in a heartbeat.
On the year OM is averaging 475 yards and 6.8 yards per play. Holding them to 70 yards and a full yard per play under their average is something I wasn't expecting.
We also held Kelly to 50 yards under his passing yards average and he was under 50% completion percentage (18/39) on the day.
It's hard to say a defense that allowed 30 points and 400+ yards played great. But considering the opponent and how our defense has played up to this point it was certainly a major improvement.
