that were not named MISSOURI.

Losing to four teams in the talent rich SEC West is not the end of the world. Losing to a Division champ from the best conference this year (ACC) is not the end of the world.

Getting totally humiliated by Auburn was close to the end but then the Florida game pulled us back from the ledge a bit.

The second half against 4-8 Missouri was and is , the end of the world.

The staff and players promised, to the fans, a lot of things after the Auburn & Missouri games and when they failed to deliver.......the fans cared little for what the players and coaches had to say. At this point, talk is cheap and only actions matter.

Many fans have shut their ears to things being said and will only trust their own eyes. I will believe it when I see it ....is where many are at today. You don't have to hate on anybody or wish bad things for them.....you just expect more and will wait and see how things look in a month or two.

When you are 3 years old and break something, the parents will forgive. When you are 17 and break the same things, they just get angry at you.

That is my best analogy as to where Coach Bielema is. He has been forgiven many things while building at Arkansas but now he has been around long enough that fans are no longer going to be so forgiving of mistakes.

As I was watching that Missouri nightmare unfold I could see this day coming. I have been watching Hog football for so many years that you know fans and media....you know everything that will be said and reported....you learn to dread a loss more for the reaction than the actual loss itself.

The staff and team shut down emotionally at halftime in Columbia and ONLY Brett Bielema can take the steps to change the direction that game sent us in.

I understand the tough schedule, I understand the building process, I understand college football is a crazy thing at times like the bounce of the ball or a bad call.................but I know the image of Bielema standing on the sidelines looking helpless, I know the image of a team touching the ball 11 times to start a half and turning it over 3 times, I know the image of a defense that is being run past like they are not even DI athletes.............and I know things are not as bad as they LOOK but it is still hard to get these images out of your mind
