Went to my first game. Beat Tulsa 20-12. That stretch from 1964-1969 provided so many great moments. What is so defining about that time is there was only one game each week on television and we had one of those 10 spots. Chris Schenkel (he's a trivia test for you youngsters) called The Big Shootout the most important event he ever covered. We were part of the royalty of CFB, if only for a short time.
I've been a part of a lot of pivotal moments over the years, but not many as important as tomorrow. A lot for our immediate future rides on this game.
