Another frustrating game and another loss to 'Bama. So tired of losing to those fools...

Robb Smith has done a pretty good job improving the defense each week. 'Bama ran 79 plays last night and our kids hung in as long as they could. I'm sure I'm not the only person that knew 'Bama would take a shot down the field when they did.

Brooks Ellis gets a lot of heat on here and some of it's deserved. He really had a nice game last night with 13 tackles (2.5 for a loss).

The offense looked over-matched from the opening snap. Our offense is built around the rushing attack and they only averaged 1.8 ypc. We get what we get in regards to our QB play and without guys like Hatcher there was little chance of doing anything offensively.

Our special teams play is not very good specifically our return game. I don't know if it's a talent issue or lack of a specific coach. I know Segrest is listed as the guy but how much is CBB running fakes in practice? Speaking of fakes, I see both sides of the argument last night but again, who didn't see that coming?

Like most folks I was under no impression they would pull out a win but if they played that well against 'Bama you it makes that Toledo/TT loss really sting.

The bye week comes at a great time because I don't know how many more "rah-rah" speeches CBB has left. Hopefully this team can win enough for a bowl but I'm not very optimistic.
