Just a couple of things I've picked up from people who were at the first two practices:

- Everyone's been really impressed with WR Jared Cornelius in the first couple of days. I'm told he's won just about all of his one-on-ones thus far.

- JoJo Robinson has been out there and stands out. Kendrick Edwards hasn't been out there as he's still suspended.

- One name that a couple of people tell me to look out for is Alex Voelzke at tight end. One person I trust tells me he's been very impressed by him.

- The RBs have struggled with Coach Singleton's new ball security drills, but they see that as a good thing. His OSU team put the ball on the ground just once last year and they recovered it, so right now ball security is their top priority. They had a better day in drills on Tuesday, but he got after them on Monday.

- Different people say OC Dan Enos brings ten times more energy to the offense than they had before, and one of the things that sticks out to sources is his attention to the fine details. He wants every aspect to be clean and tight on every rep. That's similar to what I reported last week about how the staff feels about Enos in the recruiting department. He puts in a lot more effort in spending time evaluating prospects and contacting players on social networks than they're used to seeing.

- People are impressed with the size of the starters at LB, especially the weight that SLB Khalia Hackett has put on. Dwayne Eugene is another name that one person mentioned as one to watch going forward. They tell me MLB Josh Williams has changed his body (he was probably a little too big last year) and is looking good.
