*CBB needs to talk less, coach more, and worry about on field results. Captain Obvious, I know, but it is what it is.
*Everyone is REALLY over reacting to the Kingsbury comments. Changes nothing for us in Texas. The coaches that don't like CBB because he voiced his opinion probably weren't sending kids our way to begin with, and going down there and sweet talking them wasn't going to change that. I would rather play our style/pro style offense and do/offer something different than run a spread and try and out recruit Texas, A&M, TCU, Tech, Baylor, and on and on for kids in their own state, playing the same style. CBB ran his mouth, and KK got his pound of flesh. Time to move on.
*Tevin Mitchell's departure is so over looked by this board. The other 3 guys on the defense always get mentioned, but go back and look what TM did for us against Tech last year covering guys in the slot. Kid did it all season, and did it well enough to be a 5th round draft pick.
*Obviously it doesn't look good for us, but what will it do for the board's mood/outlook if we beat A&M Saturday? Do that, then you would have to give us a pretty good chance of winning in Tennessee or at Bama. Improbable I know, but no more improbable than us losing at home back to back to Toledo and Tech. IF we can win 2 of the next 3, that leaves us 3-3 with 4 of last 6 games at home. If I was betting I wouldn't pick us to beat anyone other than UT Martin based on emotion and what I saw from our LB's and secondary Saturday night, but I also believe this staff can lift these guys up and get us turned around. May be that I am crazy.
