I keep reading about next year's team not making the tournament and I admit, I "understand" why this is being said. And maybe I am the only optimist on here but I think they have a good chance at the big dance. Why do I feel this way?
1) I thought one of the biggest reasons we did so well this past year is that Beard was a huge boost. He helped create.
2) I think Moses Kingsley has the potential to be a beast. He has size and speed, just needs to have more control and now that "he's the man" maybe he will break out.
3) Whitt and Kapita. If Beard made this team "function better" then Whitt can only add to that. I know Kapita is the question mark here (injuries) but I'm going to be optimistic (sorry, is that bad?).
4) Mike Anderson's system... we all complained about Nolan's system until we saw it work. It is "an" effective system. I just hope we have the depth for it.
