This may have been discussed on here but I don't remember it right now. Maybe Junk was right and I'm old and Can't Remeber stuff.
Just pondering around in my mind, but with the inability to run the ball early in the season in games like Toledo, TT and ATM could it be possible that those two weren't on the same page and did not see eye to eye on playcalling and schemes thus creating a poor running game. Those teams were teams we should have run all over and didn't. Later in the year we were running at will against better defenses after it was sorted out. Think Enos pissed Pittman off by calling plays that required blocking Pitts guys weren't as good at as other plays? Think CBB got them together and got it sorted out but the hard feelings by Pittman remained?
Thoughts? Or is this a Everybody knows that kind of dummy thinking?
