ive been following Arkansas Recruiting for as long as I've been a fan. Regardless of how this ends, I'm pleased with the efforts this staff has, and is making in the recruiting world.
Regardless of which side of the fence you are on. Some believe it's always sunny, some think the sky is falling, and some think we should be top 10 in the country and top 5 in the SEC in recruiting. I think this staff has the game plan that I've hoped for.
I think this staff is very practical with their game plan.
1- Keep ALL SEC type Arkansas talent at home.
2- Secure the best talent at key need positions from neighboring states.
3- SWING FOR THE FENCES on the rest.
I am all for going after the 4 and 5 star top talent. No program gets them all. But if we get 6 Rivals top 100 kids on official visits each year, I'll be happy getting 1 or 2 per year. And maybe, just maybe...we have some years where we get 10 total Rivals top 250. This year might be one.
I'm hoping to be Socked in a good way in a few days. But we have a good class now, but it could be the talk of the SEC network next week. Everybody expects the usual teams to do well, but if Arkansas cracks the top 20 for the first time, then times are a changing!
