I got in a argument today with a couple of arm chair coaches as I am. Their statement is that anyone can win with the talent Alabama has. Argued if that was true what is going on at Auburn or LSU. I agree that you have to be able to recruit but you also have to be able to coach. It is not easy to get a lot of high profile players to work together.
I think Saban does an excellent job from recruiting to product on field. I do think what makes a great coach is when he can take less than top line recruits and win. This is where Nolan was great. He could take his players and beat yours and if exchanged teams he would win with your old team.
