Arkansas finished 5-3 in SEC play. The SEC West was 7-1 in Bowl and Championship games. How the heck does a team go 5-3 in the toughest conference division SEC West and finish 8-5?
We just wasted a 10-11 win team by losing to teams to whom we shouldn't have lost. We should have beat Toledo, A & M and Miss St. Should have probably lost to Ole Miss so that's 10 games minimum we should have won. Alabama and TT just beat us.
Thank goodness we finished strong, but very disappointing season overall from what it could have been. Sure we beat Ole Miss and LSU, but they played in better Bowls and they are kicking our ass in recruiting.
Two years in a row we kick A&M's ass all over the field and give them the game late. Toledo was just a disgrace, the OL couldn't block them for shit and that cost us the game. Pittman did not have them ready. Miss St the coaching staff took the ball out of a red hot 5th yr senior BA's hand and gave it to a kicking team that was dependable as a weatherman.
What can the coaching staff do to get the team ready earlier in the year and quit losing to crappy teams?
