While the Arkansas coaching staff isn’t allowed to make contact with recruits at AT&T Stadium this weekend, a few who are already committed will be in attendance for Saturday’s contest against Texas A&M.

It’s an easy trip for some who are already in Texas, as three-star athlete Ahkhari Johnson,
four-star defensive back Jaden Allen and Bentonville three-star wide receiver CJ Brown all told HawgBeat they will be in attendance for Saturday's game against Texas A&M.

Three-star defensive back Tevis Metcalf
has also announced his plans to be at the game.

Johnson has been a difference-maker for Pleasant Grove out of Texarkana. He plays both quarterback and defensive back for the Hawks, and has led his team to a 5-0 record behind 994 yards passing and 11 touchdowns.

Defensively, Johnson has recorded 10 total tackles, one pass deflection and a forced fumble.

Allen, who plays for Aledo, just west of the Dallas metroplex, has also helped lead his team to a 5-0 record. Their most recent game was a 70-0 win over Saginaw last weekend. So far this season, he's tallied 14 total tackles.

Brown has been lightning in a bottle for the Bentonville Tigers, who have produced two Arkansas commits in the last two years in offensive lineman Joey Su'a from the class of 2023 in addition to Brown.

So far this season, he's logged 396 receiving yards and eight total touchdowns, one of which was a 95-yard kickoff return in which he reached a speed of 19.79 miles per hour.

Metcalf hails from Pinson, Alabama, and he is the younger brother of current Arkansas defensive back TJ Metcalf. He committed to Arkansas on April 22 over offers from Auburn, Colorado, Florida and others.

One commit is taking a longer trek, though. 2026 defensive back Tay Lockett has also announced he will take the trip from Bellflower, California — which sits south of Los Angeles — to Arlington for the game.

Lockett has had one of the more impressive seasons thus far of any Arkansas commit. In just his first season at St. John Bosco, he has intercepted three passes and recorded 18 total tackles.

That's an impressive stat line, as St. John Bosco is one of the best high school programs in the country, and Lockett is regularly competing against some of the best high school talent in the nation.

HawgBeat will have more coverage on the recruits who are planning to make the trip to Saturday's game, so stay tuned for the latest on The Trough message board.

Arkansas and Texas A&M are set to kick off at 11 a.m. CT from AT&T Stadium on Saturday. The game will air on the SEC Network.
