Arkansas athletic director Hunter Yurachek has placed his stamp of approval on Sam Pittman for the 2024 football season.

While some fans may have doubts about the decision, the commits who are expected to join the Razorback program are relieved.

Regardless of how the season has gone, having the coaching staff who spent months on end recruiting you fired roughly a month away from the Early Signing Period would be a stressful situation for any high schooler.

HawgBeat reached out to the commits in the class of 2024 and 2025 to get their reaction. We’ll continue to add statements from players as they’re received.

Jaden Allen - Defensive Back

“Great news,” Allen said. “Coach Pittman and the entire defensive coaching staff was part of my decision without them I may had to look at other options.”

CJ Brown - Wide Receiver

“Feeling really good,” Brown said. “I was recruited by them and I want to play for them.”

Kobe Branham - Offensive Lineman

“I feel great about it,” Branham said. “I have full faith in coach Pittman and feel like he will make the right choice for OC next year and get things back on track. The 24 class is great and most of them including me committed to Arkansas because of him. Happy he will be back next year.”
