Football Arkansas lands Abilene Christian kicker Kyle Ramsey

The Arkansas football team has added to its special teams room ahead of the 2024-25 season, as Abilene Christian kicker Kyle Ramsey is officially listed on the Razorbacks' roster as of Wednesday.

A redshirt senior out of Missouri City, Texas, Ramsey was named a FCS First-Team All-American after finishing 14-for-15 on field goals and averaging 62.6 yards per kickoff on over 57 kicks.

Ramsey was excellent from range, as he nailed a perfect 7-of-7 attempts from 40-49 yards out and was 4-of-5 on attempts of 50 or more yards. His season-best came against Prairie View on Sept. 9, when the 6-foot-2, 190-pounder made a 55-yard field goal.



Prior to his time at Abilene Christian, Ramsey was a member of the Houston Cougars football team from 2019-22. He was named the to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team as a redshirt junior after going 5-for-6 on field goals, including 4-for-5 on 20+ yard attempts.

Across his entire collegiate career, Ramsey is 19-for-22 on field goals (86.4%) and has only missed one extra point in 37 games.

Along with Ramsey, the Razorbacks have Hawaii transfer Matthew Shipley, redshirt senior Vito Calvaruso and freshman Charlie Von Der Meden on the roster for place-kicking duties.
