OKAY, this morning was obviously big for Arkansas when it comes to the portal, and I think a refresh is needed as we move toward the weekend...
~ Like mentioned above, Arkansas locked down Georgia Tech OT Corey Robinson II and UCF C Caden Kitler. Absolutely massive pickups, but I think the Hogs still want one more there. Perhaps Ole Miss G Kavion Broussard, who should be visiting today/tomorrow?
~ I like the spot Arkansas is in for the two DBs, Adrion Maddox (UAB) and Jordan Young (Cincinnati). Maddox was obviously teammates with Kam Shanks, Arkansas' new WR pickup, and Young has connections to Deron Wilson in their Florida days.
~ I have confirmed with Texas State RB Ismail Mahdi that an announcement should come this weekend. Like the Hogs' chances there, still trying to identify what the other RB targets are for Arkansas.
~ Charlotte WR O'Mega Blake visited yesterday. Haven't heard a peep from him, but Arkansas needs a deep threat and he's as good as it gets.
~ Abilene Christian DT David Oke just wrapped up a USC visit, and Georgia DT Jamaal Jarrett still has some visits. You never like it when they leave campus without a commitment, but I think Arkansas should be able to get at least one of these guys.
~ Kentucky landed Oklahoma WR JJ Hester and just hosted Alabama WR Kendrick Law.
~ Interestingly, Tusculum transer WR Za'ron Collins tells me he's talked to Arkansas and is working on visit plans. Don't know much about this one just yet.
~ Arizona transfer TE Keyan Burnett tells me he's heard from the Hogs, but is still working things out to find the best fit.
~ Courtney Crutchfield is expected to portal from Missouri. REALLY like Arkansas' chances there.
