The transfer portal doesn’t open officially until December, but one offensive lineman who is already in has confirmed he will take an official visit to Arkansas this weekend.

Keyshawn Blackstock, who entered the transfer portal out of Michigan State following the firing of Mel Tucker, confirmed to HawgBeat he will be at the game against Auburn on Saturday.

Richard Davenport with the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette first reported the news.

Blackstock transferred to Michigan State over the offseason after spending time at Coffeyville Community College in eastern Kansas, where he played with current Arkansas offensive lineman Amaury Wiggins.

The Covington, Georgia, native was ranked the No. 4 junior college player in the country according to Rivals and chose the Spartans over offers from Auburn, Florida, Florida State and others.

Arkansas extended the offer to Blackstock on Oct. 28.

So far in the class of 2024, Arkansas has three offensive linemen coming from the high school ranks: three-stars Kobe Branham (Fort Smith) and Zuri Madison (Lexington, Kentucky) and four-star Kai Greer (Waxhaw, North Carolina).
