Baseball; Cubs have 3rd best record in the NL

and are in 3rd place in the Central. That is like being really good in football but being in the SEC West

In the new wildcard deal.....would the Pirates have to play the Cubs in a one game deal if it ends like it stands today?

I would not want the Cubs in a one game deal....they have some arms to throw at you
