by 12 over Mizzou, by 20 over LSU, and now by 10 over TN on the road ... and for the 2nd straight game, the 2nd unit was big.
* It wasn't pretty, the Hog got mauled on the boards most of the night and played some uninspiring D along the way, but now we are just 1 regular-season win away from non-losing season (both overall and in SEC regular-season play).
* Hogs shot 9-of-19 from 3, Vols were 4-of-21 ... that's how you go on the road and win, even when you lose the rebounding battle, 42-33, while giving up 15 offensive rebounds ... it also helped that we shot 23 FTs (making 16) to their 14 attempts (they made 11) ... I can't remember the last time we went on the road and shot more FTs than our opponent, hell I can't remember the last time we shot more FTs at home.
* Beard finally breaks through with a solid game, scoring 10 points (all in the 2nd half) with 1 rebound (a big one late after MK missed the front end of the 1-and-1), 1 assist, and only 1 turnover.
* Trey with some mental errors tonight, but he got tough on the boards in the 2nd half, finishing with 7 rebounds to go along with 5 points, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 1 block.
* Whitt and Manny combined for 12 points (on 6-of-12 FGs), 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, and only 1 turnover.
* Bell and Hannahs rang up 33 points on a combined 9-of-17 FGs (including 7-of-10 from 3) and 8-of-9 FTs, and they contributed a total of 6 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals.
* Moses with a productive night ... 9 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 blocks, 1 steal, and 3 turnovers.
* If LSU defeats Florida tonight, Arkansas will be in a 5-team tie for 6th place in the SEC at 8-8.
* At Bama and home against SCar are winnable games. The Hogs are in position to climb as high as 3rd in the league if they win out and SCar, LSU and Vandy all lose their last 2 games. Not likely, but we've got a decent shot at finishing in the top half of the league with 2 games to play.
