The first day teams can begin official practice is Saturday, Oct. 1 -- several teams will hold midnight events to kick things off -- but I remember MA saying after the Spain trip the Hogs might not roll the basketballs out for practice at first opportunity, so this is not a surprise. Excited about this season because I think MA has assembled a team that should get back to the NCAAT.
