A football team has never needed a home win more than we did today. It was awesome. The crowd was better than I expected. It was a lot colder than I realized when I left at 8AM. I needed more clothing.
We joked that our defensive philosophy was to leave their receivers so wide open that they would get nervous and drop it. It worked more often than not. I don't even care. I am just happy for the win.
Pouring out of the stadium afterwards were nothing but smiles. Everyone was laughing. Even the cops were laughing and getting high fives from fans. It was fantastic. Our tailgate spot is right on Razorback Road 100 yards south of the stadium. We cranked up the music and about 2,000 people were dancing to "All I do is Win". What a great crowd. We didn't end up packing up until 6:00. It was incredibly satisfying to win a meaningful game at home.
