Arkansas Coach Bret Bielema
- Bielema opened discussing the bye week and getting the team healthy. He added Kody Walker will be with them for this game. He also discussed being able to prepare for the early 11 o'clock kickoff.
- He said Auburn brings a few new wrinkles on offense and on defense they bring a new scheme with Will Muschamp.
- Bielema said Sunday and Tuesday were his team's best two back-to-back practices and that there was a lot of energy.
- He was asked about a sense of urgency for the post season, and he said it's really hard for a football team to do what the public does and look ahead. Once a football team looks ahead, you find you skip a step, and he thinks his players learned that not only last year but with this year, too. He said one game at a time is the only way to survive. Regarding making sure his team is focused, he said it has actually been pretty easy and that his guys are playing their tails off. "It's not like they're getting their tails kicked into oblivion, they're playing competitive games."
- On possibly playing in the rain, Bielema said he tells his kids to 'control the controlables,' and he said they have played well on rainy days as both their wins last year came with some rain and it rained all pregame for the win at Tennessee.
