With not many options to watch in the realm of collegiate sports, I found myself watch the girls softball tournament. I noticed when one would hit a home run, the entire team would gather around home plate and just go crazy as they greeted the batter.
My question is how is this ok but when a football player even remotely gestures a celebration in the end zone they are penalized? And don't even think about the entire team making a scene in the enzone.
How is one ok and the other not? Am I missing something? Thoughts...
