Watching TCU today and their defense. They do not have big linebackers and defensive ends playing and built to stop the spread and fast teams. In todays world you have to have speed on defense or the new offenses are going to cut you up. If you can get size and speed that would be great but seems with big guys that can run are not quick enough. May need two different defensive players on a team that can change based on type of team you are facing. For most part we are just not fast or quick enough. TCU would carve us up.
