The affordable care act has helped out a lot of hard work people as well .It has even benefited the people that didn't vote for him. Does it have flaws? Heck yes! It going to take both sides to engage equally before we truly see the potential of the system. At this point I believe the program is in to early of stage to consider it crap or successful. IMO

yea, you just don't get it, i hope government tells you how to take a crap too, worst mistake in the history of America, obama that is, and his so called care

SMH...yeah making it the law that you have insurance is unheard of and a violation of all principles we hold dear.
Sincerely,
Auto Insurance, Home Owners Insurance, Malpractice Insurance etc etc.

IBTGB....massive expansion of medi-caid. You cannot add 30+ million people and it not cost someone some money. Unfortunately, the ones that will be paying more are the ones who were responsible and already had HC. Anyone who couldn't see this coming when the bill was passed into law just didn't want to see it.

Please don't post political stuff on here.....

it makes recruits think that we're numb nuts and it polarizes the other posters in a highly emotional thread that typically could be taken in the wrong way by someone for whom we wish to be putting our best foot forward. If you dont like Obama care post it on the FOX news site or the CNN blog. I can say the same thing for posts about religion. The BIG three are politics, religion, and football. Let's keep it on football.

Some people need to have complex issues dumbed down to understand them, and then they still don't. It would be nice if we had a viable alternative to the Democratic party that actually engaged in intelligent debate. But this is what we're stuck with. Toxic nonsense that does nothing to solve the problems. Meanwhile the US has fallen into third world status over the last couple of decades in every measurement regarding healthcare.

Life expectancy, we're number 33, barely ahead of Cuba and behind lots of poorer war torn countries.Infant mortality rate, we're 34th, behind Cuba and just ahead of Malta.Spending on healthcare, hey we're number 1 in something, YAY. Le'ts throw a party.

Hendo's post is the only one that should be allowed on this board. The rest of that crap is just stirring up trouble.

there are parts of the "care" that are very beneficial. I'm sorry you don't "get" it either. If for no other reason, other than insurance scammers not being able to cancel you if you become sick, it was worth every bit of criticism the president received. I've seen it first hand, and it almost broke my family. Thousands aren't as fortunate. Before Obamacare, almost 70% of bankruptcies were due to someone getting sick. I'm sorry, but that sucks. It sucks to lose everything you have worked for just because you developed an illness. You pay your premiums monthly, quarterly, yearly or whatever for years, and you get sick and they drop you. I'm sorry, you don't get it. I'm sorry you feel that the gov is telling you what to do, but the reality is that you probably have existing healthcare and as long as you kept that healthcare, which you wouldn't let you or your family do without because it would cost you more MONEY, to go to the doctor, it does not affect you. I worked for a $14 billion dollar corporation and I now have my own business. I had a very good plan under the corporation but I have found that my rates are not that much different, less than $50 more a month, under my own business. How is that? I was shocked, how could this be? After all the horror stories I had heard, about how the costs would drive people out of business and all, I assumed I would pay double or something on my own. I know I know, it was the left wing media that lied to me so I would be surprised at actually paying less than I expected, right?

Who's picking up the tab for all this??? Oh yeah, 30 percent of the people that actually pay their taxes are, I forgot. Nothing makes me happier than paying for some lazy bastards health insurance.

These threads crack me up. We have some real dandies on this board. God bless their little hearts.
