This was something that stood out to me today. Most of the time, unless it's a real star player, coaches will often refer to opposing players by their jersey number. Today Arkansas secondary coach Clay Jennings referred to all four starting Tech receivers by name, as well as the top two backups.
“Jakeem’s been a pain in my side, shoot, for the past four or five years. I think he’s got about seven years of eligibility,” Jennings said. “He does a great job in the slot for them. Also, the guy that does a great job stretching the field on the outside, Lauderdale.”
