Could someone please post a link for the coaches recruiting areas. I know there was a link that had all the coaches with their areas and their top targets. I'm not sure if it's still around, or not. Aside from an instate kid blowing up with offers, it has been a little dry around here, and I'm beginning to go through withdrawals. Also with all the speculation on the new RB coach, and whether he'll be a good recruiter, or if he has ties to certain areas we need to pull from, it has sparked my interest in where our coaches are assigned. I know a few of the coaches main areas, but would like to take a look at all of them. As I said, Im jonesing, and I need something to occupy my time.
Also, Does anyone in the know, or do any of you see Barry Lunney being given more area. By that I mean branching out to other locations. He has been killing it in recruiting since he got here. Granted, the vast majority have been from Arkansas, but you have to give the man credit. I think he's brought in around 30 players. I know its all about connections to the areas, and lets all be honest, he's not going to be the TE coach at Arkansas forever. With the way he has brought kids in, and the success of our TE's, he is surely to get a promotion sooner rather or later. If I was him, I would want a little more success outside of this state for my resume incase I was offered a better job elsewhere. I hope we keep him for as long as we can. I believe he's a home run recruiter, and good coach, which is also why I'm curious about him branching out to other areas. I'd like to think we would have a good chance of the next staff keeping him around, if he's still here. Whenever that may be.
