The Class of 2017 Hog commit and Top 250 recruit had team-highs with 17 points (6 of 7 FGs and 5 of 6 FTs) and 8 rebounds, and also had game-highs in assists (4) and steals (4) as his Team Magic Elite came back to defeat the Eric Gordon All Stars, 69-66, in Saturday's consolation bracket ... Team Magic Elite had lost yesterday in the tourney's quarterfinals, but finished the week at 3-1.

After a slow start in game 1 of this event -- Hall got into early foul trouble before fouling out with only 4 points and 2 rebounds -- he was terrific in his final 3 games, averaging 17.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.3 steals, 2.0 assists, and 1.0 block. He shot 53% from the field and 68% from the FT line.

In his last 2 games, Hall was going up against Class of 2017 stud Aamir Simms, a 6-7 SF and Top 125 prospect who plays for Team Loaded VA, as well as Romeo Langford, a 6-5 SG / wing who is ranked as the No. 2 player nationally for the Class of 2018 -- Langford was held to just 12 points today on 4-of-10 shooting for the Eric Gordon All Stars.

Rivals national analyst Eric Bossi recently had Hall among a grouping of 12 players who were just outside his Top 150 for 2017, so Halls' work in this event is a great start in the July eval period, and hopefully he can build on it and move up in the national rankings.
