...intentionally inflate our chances with the major prospects to create a sense of jumping on board for the other major prospects? Sort of like Nkemdiche started the train rolling for ole miss when he committed? Right now that looks like a big mistake as it is backfiring. I've never seen this much misinformation floating around by sources close to Arkansas that "feel very good" about the position they are in with recruits, only to have us not in their final 3, or even their final 6! It is unbelievable and sure is not a good idea in terms of fan support.
Or the alternative is our staff has no clue how to read people and are themselves getting false hope. Or they are just can't close on elite prospects, I dunno??
Will close by saying I'm happy for the recruits that choose to be Hogs and like the class on a whole. I'm just curious and disappointed with some of the info that is out there.
