These guys are ranked 7-10 in Louisiana this year, and we've got a real shot at landing three out of four, if not all four of them. I bring this up for two reasons, one being that it is completely absurd to have that kind of talent at the bottom of the top 10 of a state the size of LA, and two that it would be great to land four of the top 10 guys in LA.
I've always felt like there was a lot of potential in LA that doesn't get mined but that TAMU and Ole Miss seem to lock down the guys who don't go to LSU, but it seems that Bret has done a good job getting dug in down there. As I write I realize that there isn't a ton of point to this post, other than to say that I'm glad we're doing what we are down there. It's great to recruit Texas and Florida, but the kids from Louisiana, Georgia, MIssissippi that don't stay home can really make a difference.
