Anyone else drawn to shows and movies like The Hunger Games...The Walking Dead...Mad Max...etc? For some reason, I've always loved the shows where people are trying to find a way to survive after earth is nearly destroyed...and making a comeback.
Any good ones that you guys recommend?
I recently started watching The 100 on The CW. I figured since it was on the CW that it would be a teenage angst show...but was pleasantly surprised. Binge watched on Netflix. It's about a group of people living on a space station orbiting Earth for about 100 years after a nuclear holocaust. They end up sending 100 teenaged delinquents back to Earth to see if they can now survive and see if the radiation levels are down. Then...the kids get to Earth and find out they're not alone. Really like it...a lot.
Of course, love the Hunger Games, Mad Max, The Last Ship, 28 Days, The Matrix, I Am Legend, Planet of the Apes, Oblivion, Terminator, World War Z, 12 Monkeys...and some tv shows like The Walking Dead, Jericho, The 100, Falling Skies,...
