Not a lot to do these days but wait and think and hope and pray. But I've got a good feeling that AC is going to explode this year.
1- this is the first summer we haven't heard his name mentioned much. Typically he is in trouble for being late, or missing, or effort, or him and J Wil aren't buddies. Nothing this summer which suggests to me, he is TUNED IN!
2- I think he had a bad wheel last season. We all know the RB depth issues, especially with Korliss Marshal being a jerk. I think he had to take it easy all week, then do his best on Saturday. Every Saturday. No time to heal. I just don't believe he would lose his top end speed when he gained 15 lbs.
3- as much as I love love love J Will, and I'd be just as happy if he had the huge season instead, I just feel AC has more intangibles at making people miss, and breaking off big runs.
4- history- as a hog fan, we typically wait it out for 4 years, then have an amazing season. That's usually followed by a huge loss of players to exhausted eligibility, or going to NFL early. I'm guessing we lose J Will, and AC early to the draft which puts us in a critical spot. Hence, slow to offer a RB based on his star rating. Must be a home run recruit to get an offer.
