Thought I would share some of my stories and would love to hear others who have them

Ron Hurry played on my Springdale league team a few years back. It was 4 short white dudes and Ron Hurry on the floor. He shot it every time he touched it, he only would shoot 3's and never rebound, play defense or pass lol. One game he brought Lee Wilson with him ( they were roomates at the time but not sure anymore ) but the league wouldn't let Lee WIlson play because he wasn't listed on our roster.

Ron quit showing up half way through league, he was working at a convenient store and said he got fired for drinking on the job. Havnt seen him since

Joe Dean Davenport played in the same league the next year. He is the biggest fvck ive ever played basketball with or against. He was dirty and threw the ball at me for playing defense on him and trying to stop him from scoring. Ive never played with or against someone so arrogant. Guy would throw elbows and get mad 3 or 4 times over each game. He was just a complete jerk on and off the court

Matt Jones: Played on a flag football 2 yrs ago at the park beside rogers high school. Matt played Qb and receiver and of course he was men among boys out there. A super genuine nice guy. He also would come down to the All star arena sometimes and play basketball with us. Very personable and introduces himself ( as if they don't know who he is ) and makes all the new guys that come play feel welcome. Still a pretty good basketball player but a true Arkansas boy

Robert Johnson: Came down and played bball at all star a couple times. His athleticism is crazy good. He can jump out of the gym. One of the most athletic guys ive ever been around. Pretty good at basketball but his pure athleticism makes up for his lack of basketball skill

Brandon Kennedy fullback 2005 era: Has a really bad temper, would get pissed if he got fouled and would get scary angry sometimes, I never wanted to guard him because he gets mad so easily haha! We had to hold him back from breaking this poor dude in half one time. Super nice guy when not playing ball and still see him and talk to him sometimes

Deandre Berry CB 2001 era: Has done a lot of work for my company in the past, one of the nicest guys I have ever met and the ladies love him good looks and muscles. Still lives in the area and does muscle man competitions. Cant say enough good things about this guy

Garrick Mcgee: Him and his wife brought their little boy in to see me one time. Was in my office and have a mirror window, noticed him snooping around and walking around the office a bit out of the ordinary. It was just weird. 99% of people go to the front desk and sign in or the receptionist ask them to be seated while they wait. He just seem to take it upon himself to go and do whatever he wanted, sense of entitlement so to speak.
I came out and introduced my self, first thing I said was hey coach, thought you were in texas recruiting. His reply was " how did you know that, I just got back this morning". I replied that I follow recruiting and a huge hog fan ( think I had read it somewhere on this board a little before ) Anyhow, ended up being a super nice guy and his wife was very sweet. He left Arkansas shortly after

Raymond House: Sucks at basketball but a great guy. He fouls a lot. Fun guy to play with and super friendly

I moved to Fayetteville 8 yrs ago and these are my run ins and stories with ex hogs. Some may find them irrelevant and pointless which I would have to agree. Just passing time until football season. If anyone has an ex hog story I would love to hear it
