LSU has 2 players in Jordan Mickey who avg. 9.9 RPG & Jarell Martin who avg. 9 RPG.
That puts Mickey tied for 1st in the SEC for Rebounds with Bowers from Auburn and Martin is 3rd in the SEC with his 9RPG.
The only positive i see is Portis is 4th in the SEC with 8.5 RPG
J. Martin is 5th in the SEC in Scoring 16.6 PPG
J. Mickey is 6th in the SEC in Scoring 16 PPG
K.Hornsby is 15th in the SEC in scoring 13.2 PPG
Mickey also leads the NCAA in Blocked shots at 3.7 BPG
We have our own Portis ranked 3rd in the SEC in scoring at 17.7
and Qualls ranked 8th at 15.3
I don't think LSU is going to try and slow the game down, I think they're going to try and run with us like we did against Kentucky.
Were going to have to Rebound against LSU. They're a good Rebounding team.
But on the other end they are one of the worst teams in not taking care of the ball. Correct me if i'm wrong but aren't they one of the worst teams in the entire NCAA in turnovers. Like 300th something?
I believe were going to force a lot of turnovers on them. Were going to have to. That's one key to how were going to win this game. I think we get out rebounded (Which isn't new to us) but they've got some good scorers so were going to have to turn the ball over on them and play good defense.
Feel free to add any tid-bits for the game.
