The Championship is Live: https://arkansas.forums.rivals.com/...deathmatch-part-2-insects-and-spiders.110156/

This is the second part of what will be a 5 part series, we'll vote on which of these insects/spiders would be the ultimate deathmatch foe.

Each round will last 24 hours, and voting locations will be linked. This event will span a couple weeks, having 5 total parts. Part 1 is Large Land Animals. Part 2 will be Insects and Spiders, Part 3 will be Birds and Other Flyers and Part 4 will be Aquatic Animals. Part 5 will have the winners of each bracket face off in an ultimate final four to determine the baddest animal out there.

Here's the premise:
-These insect and spiders all face off in a neutral environment in a battle to the death.
-1 member of each species.
-Your job is to vote for the insect or spider you believe would win this fight to the death.

The fine folks of Hawgbert have spoken, here are your remaining contenders:

It is with great sadness that I report fan favorites Mantis and Titan Beetle have both lost in the Elite 8. We look forward to their reemergence in next year's tournament.

Mantis vs. Warrior Wasp was especially close, with the final margin only giving Warrior Wasp the W by 1 vote.

We must not waiver, though. The matchups are set; here's what you need to know about your Final 4:

Things to know to inform your vote:
1. Murder Hornets: Literally murder anything it feels like. 4 inches long, razor sharp mandibles, and a poisonous sting.

2. Funnel-Web Spider: Most venomous spider in the world. Can reach the size of a Tarantula but with poison that'll kill in minutes.

3. Warrior Wasp: It uses disciplined and calculated attacks dealing the most painful sting in the insect kingdom. Twice the size of a paper wasp with 10 times the stinging power.

4. Tarantula Hawk: Huge with a powerful sting, but is held back by it's lack of aggression.

We're doing great folks, onto the Final 4 we go.....

Vote:
Only vote once for each. The site shouldn't allow more than one vote per user, but please use the honor system anyway.
