I'm glad the season is over. This team brought me some fun and I watched every game but also brought a lot of cuss words and high blood pressure even though I expected it- didn't change the fact that I stiill went all in.i always do.
Sad that Bell and Durham and even Willy went out like this but I'm ready for their tenure to be over. I was a big Ant fan and they were all classy and deserve our respect.
I never make outlandish predictions and I don't really even mind being labeled a lover, hugger or homer. Considering the folks that do the labeling, no big deal to me. I'm not here to be liked. Also respect the posters that call for assistant changes and better recruiting as long as it's a well thought out and respectful post. I'm. not going to doing any defending in this post either. My stance is I am without a doubt 100% behind CMA getting next year. Don't have many reasons for it other than the fact that I think he deserves it.
Not because of his record to date or the success in recruiting in wins and losses since hes gotten here. Just the fact that he came. Left a great situation and came to a miserable one. He's changed the culture of this program, while that hasn't translated in great success yet. It still counts for me. I consider myself a pretty even keel poster and can get along with anyone. It's my point of view that this program turns the corner next year and we will have sustainable success going forward. Doesn't make me right but I sure as hell believe it.
Dusty H was our only player the proved to be more than one dimensional. You could really see that today as we got into the shot clock more than I've seen all year. Toward the
Second half of the season the teams that focused on taking Ant and Dusty out of the game then doubled Moses ate our lunch.
I'm also of the belief that next years class is enough to launch what we have coming back into the National spotlight. And I think Mike is going to come back as hungry as he's ever been. I'm done til next year and I'll try to take it easy on some of y'all then, but no promises.
