First, I'll admit I've been very apathetic in regard to Hog Basketball over the past several years. A far cry from me and 4 buddies being on the front row in Austin, TX high fiving Todd Day and Lee Mayberry as we beat Dayton back in the day...
Anyway, I'm wondering if you guys feel our 27 W's, return to the tournament, a Nationally recognized player in Portis, new Practice Facility "almost" complete - will all these things help Mike and staff on the recruiting trail now? I'm firmly in the camp that believes we are in dire need of better quality options coming off the bench - since they are going to get quality minutes in Mike's system. There were many times when Portis/Qualls were out of the game - you had Watkins/Williams and others on the floor and none were offensive threats AT ALL. And consequently, we would stall offensively and usually go into an instant drought.
