We’re really getting down to it now y’all. As stuff gets negotiated I suspect it’ll get quieter until either Arkansas or Ole Miss feels more certainty on the situation with Kiffin.

They’ve both definitely interviewed him and I can’t speak for Ole Miss but folks told me his interview with Arkansas went very well.
Neal posted this last night: “I talked to someone this evening who spoke to Monte Kiffin, Lane's father and longtime NFL assistant. He said both Ole Miss and Arkansas were in it. My friend said he kind of felt like Monte Kiffin was leaning to Arkansas but he wasn't sure of that. He said it sounded like both schools had made strong pushes.”
Other candidates in the mix remain: Butch Davis, Bryan Harsin, Willie Fritz, Skip Holtz, Eliah Drinkwitz
I saw this morning that Urban Meyer is holding out hope that Jerry Jones will fire Jason Garrett. Is there some... possible... way Arkansas could convince Meyer to come fix this mess instead? He’s been in contact with Stephen Jones.
I am curious why Arkansas hasn’t been more connected to Billy Napier considering Ole Miss has him as their solid third choice, perhaps they’re in a position to gamble more. I plan to look into this more to see if Arkansas has made legit contact.
That’s all I’ve got for now, I’ll keep y’all updated as the day goes on but I don’t expect to hear a ton of details as the process works itself through with Kiffin.
Hasn’t been talked about too much outside of the A State fans thread but Missouri is seemingly back to square one after presenting a group of options that didn’t pass the optics test. Still don’t think they could out bid Arkansas for their backups.
