im tired of hearing that our running game is bad because we don't have a fullback... We could have had two full backs in the game for every run last week and it wouldn't have made much difference. There's lots of teams that run the ball successfully WITHOUT a fullback. Alabama for example. You don't have to have a fullback to be successful running the football. Does it help? Sure it does... When there is a hole and the fullback can meet a safety or linebacker at the next level. However our offensive line rather blocking scheme, mentality, coaching just isn't getting it done for some reason... You have 7 other guys that block on most plays and if they play to the level they are capable of then the running game will be fine with or without a fullback. We talk about the fullback like it would be a world changer... Folks we could have had Kiero Small and Peyton Hills in at fullback Saturday and it wouldn't have mattered. I still don't think we would have had 200 rushing and won the game. Until they fix the blocking issues with the big guys up front first and figure out how to make a hole or move someone then the fullback play is really just an excuse and overall irrelevant IMO.
