If JWill or AC doesn't do it this year (or for AC, next year), then one of these bright young high school RBs is finally going to realize the opportunity they have to win the prestigious award at Arkansas. I think we all know DMAC should have won it not once but twice. Arkansas is known as RB University for a good reason. It's not just that we've had so many 1,000 yard RBs, but the fact that our backs are doing it against the toughest defenses in the country. SEC defenses! Add this to the great success Bret Bielema has had in getting RBs into Heisman consideration (and the NFL) year after year at Wisconsin, and it just seems inevitable that a Heisman is in the near future for a young RB that chooses the Hogs. Don't fall for some of the crap you hear from HCs that seldom if ever have a 1,000 yard RB.

It has become tradition for the Hogs to have a 1,000 yard RB, if not two, every year. And Bret Bielema had the same tradition and success at Wisconsin. Can we call it a match made in Heaven. Arkansas, and Bielema, also have a tradition of having solid depth at RB which reduces the risk of injury and just wear and tear in general. The quality depth the Hogs, and Bielema, traditionally have at RB has always allowed a featured back the luxury of being able to take a break when he needs it. He doesn't have to keep playing through the wear and tear because there is such a huge drop off between the #1 back and the #2 back. This is proven by the fact that Arkansas has not once, but THREE times had TWO 1,000 yard RBs in the same season, 2006, 2007, and 2014. The results at Wisconsin for Bielema were very similar.

In fact, the biggest challenger to Arkansas's title of RB University, would definitely be Wisconsin. So if I were a HS RB and wanted the opportunity to win the Heisman, Arkansas and Bret Bielema would definitely be the place for me.

WPS and Go Coach Bielema!
