HELP: RV’ing across country: where do I go?

Thinking about throwing the Fam in a drivable RV or pull trailer and just taking across country for a couple weeks. I will work part of the time but use to remote work...been at home last 10

1. Any thoughts on where to rent? I know there are rideshare sites...looking to see if anyone has a personal experience?
2. Not sure where to go...never been in Southwest area of US, Utah, or East Coast? Is there a must see spots you would recommend? Been to Scottsdale many times.
3. Want to take Bikes, Clubs, hell even tents to camp out in parks.
