The top tackler in JUCO ball heard from Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema last week.

Eldridge Thompson, 6-2, 215, 4.50, is a redshirt-freshman at Coffeyville (Kan.) C.C. who will graduate in May. He has early offers from Middle Tennessee, East Tennessee State and Western Illinois with several other big-name programs, including Arkansas, beginning to show more interest.

Thompson graduated from White Station High in Memphis (Tenn.) in 2014. Through the first seven games of his first season on the field, he's leading the JUCO ranks with 63 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 INT (for a touchdown), 1 sack, 1 fumble recovery (for a touchdown), and 4 pass break-ups.

Thompson said he won't take any visits until after the season.
