Let me start off by saying I am not very savvy in this area and am looking for some help.
Scenario:
I bought a house recently that has 7 sets of speakers in various rooms all controlled with volume knobs in the specific rooms - except the speakers that are on my patio. I want to play music that I have downloaded on my laptop throughout the house.
On my wall in my living room are all the connections to my speakers. It looks like they accept banana plugs. How can I hook my laptop up to these speakers and play the music?
I had Magnolia (Best Buy) come out for a consultation and they quoted me at $2.8k saying I needed it a distributed amplifier to do this. Also labor was a factor in driving up the cost. I think there has to be a cheaper way to achieve my desired results. Thoughts?
