The Arkansas Razorbacks (17-11, 6-9 SEC) will face a tough road test Saturday when they visit Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina, to face the Gamecocks (11-17, 1-14 SEC).

The Hogs are riding the high of two straight wins over Missouri and Texas and on paper, this looks to be an easy matchup. Don't let the Gamecocks' 1-14 Southeastern Conference record fool you, though. In its six league home losses, South Carolina has only lost by a margin of 6.1 points on average.

That number is somewhat skewed by a 20-point loss to Alabama early on in conference play, too. If that loss is taken out of the equation, the Gamecocks' margin of defeat is only 3.4 points at home. EvanMiya's Analytics give South Carolina the third-best home rank in the nation, which ranks how much better a team performs at home as opposed to on the road.

South Carolina's only conference victory came last weekend, at home, against the Texas Longhorns. The Gamecocks led by as many as 22 points en route to an 84-69 win. Their next time out was not as great, as the Gamecocks lost to Missouri, 101-71, at Mizzou Arena.

Arkansas will once again be without its best player, as third-year forward Adou Thiero was listed as "out" on Friday evening's SEC Availability Report. Thiero missed the Hogs' last game against Texas after he hyperextended his knee last Saturday against Missouri.

Both Arkansas and South Carolina have met on 39 occasions, and the Razorbacks own a 23-16 advantage, all-time. In games played in Columbia, however, the two teams are an even 8-8 against each other.
